Steelman Digital LLC ("Steelman Digital," "we," "us," or "our") owns and operates the Liftbase mobile application (the "App") and the Liftbase website, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the App and website (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information, including personal information, in conjunction with your access to and use of the Liftbase Service. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect various types of information in connection with the Service, including:
- A. Information You Provide Directly to Us:
- Account Information: When you create a Liftbase account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and password.
- Profile Information: You may choose to provide additional information for your user profile, such as a profile picture.
- Workout and Routine Data: We collect the information you input when you create workout routines, log your workouts, track your progress, and otherwise use the fitness logging features of the Service. This may include details about exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, dates, times, and any notes you add.
- Payment Information: If you purchase a Pro Membership or other paid services, our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe for web purchases, Apple or Google for In-App Purchases) will collect and process your payment information. We do not directly store your full credit card or debit card numbers.
- Communications: If you contact us directly (e.g., for customer support), we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
- B. Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Service:
- Usage Information: We collect information about your interactions with the Service, such as the features you use, the actions you take, the content you view, and the dates and times of your access.
- Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the Service, which may include hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, Android Advertising ID), IP address, browser type, language settings, and mobile network information. This information may be used for debugging, error monitoring, and improving service compatibility.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We and our third-party partners may use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and other similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities over time and across different websites and services. This information may be used to personalize your experience, analyze trends, administer the Service, track users' movements around the Service, and gather demographic information. - C. Information We Collect From Third Parties:
- Third-Party Authentication Services: If you choose to register or log in to Liftbase using a third-party service (such as Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In), we may receive information about you from that service, such as your name, email address, and profile picture, as permitted by your privacy settings on that service.
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may receive information about you from third-party service providers who assist us in operating and improving the Service, such as analytics providers, error tracking services (e.g., Sentry), and subscription management services (e.g., RevenueCat).
- AI API Providers: When you use AI Features within the Service, we may send certain data (which could include your workout data or queries) to third-party AI API providers (e.g., Google, OpenAI) to generate responses. These providers may process this data according to their own privacy policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Create and manage your account, and personalize your experience.
- Process your transactions and manage your Subscriptions (facilitated through third-party payment processors and subscription managers).
- Enable and provide AI Features within the Service.
- Communicate with you, including responding to your comments, questions, and requests; providing customer service and support; and sending you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
- Send you marketing communications (such as newsletters or promotional offers), where permitted by applicable law and subject to your ability to opt-out.

- With Payment Processors: To facilitate payments for Subscriptions, we share information with third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Apple, Google). These processors handle your payment information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements or policies; (c) protect the security or integrity of our Service; or (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of Steelman Digital, our users, or the public from harm or illegal activities.
- In Connection with a Business Transfer: If Steelman Digital is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract.
- With Your Consent or at Your Direction: We may share your information with third parties when we have your consent to do so or at your direction (e.g., if you choose to share your workout routines with other users in the future).
- Aggregated or De-identified Data: We may share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for various purposes, including for research, analysis, and to improve and promote our Service.
4. Your Choices and Rights
You may have certain rights and choices regarding our collection, use, and sharing of your information:
- Account Information: You can access and update certain account information through your profile settings in the App or on our website.
- Communication Preferences: You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
- Cookies: Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of our Service.
